Do you have parking?
Parking is extremely default in Barrow between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday as the majority of the free parking is taken by office workers driving into town. Out side these hours parking is freely available surrounding the Ambrose Hotel and a small car park is available by the Hotel. Motor Bikers and cyclists are welcome to park them in our secure yard.

I will be arriving late how will I book in?
We have a 24hour reception and a night porter on thoughout the night for your convenience and security.

Do you have a lift?
We do not have a lift and I would advise that we have no ground floor rooms.

Can I book without card details?
If you do not wish to secure you’re booking with valid card details a cheque or BACS deposit for the full amount must be received within 4 postal days of the booking being made. Also note you can not book on line without card details.

Will you take any money from my card? We do not take any money form your card; it is used to secure your booking for arrival. The only time we take payments from the details supplied is:

In the event of a no show or cancellation in breach of our cancellation policy.

You leave the hotel without settling your bill in full.

To recover the cost of unreported damage in your room.

Barrow Town Hall (town centre). Walking 10 mins, Car less then 5 mins.
Kimberly Clark. Walking 40 mins, Car 10 mins.
Carven Park (Barrow Rugby League Football Club). 20 yrds.
Furness Genral Hospitel. Walking 40 mins, Car 10 mins.
